Chumphon islands
Chumphon islands are at close proximity to mainland coast, comprises of 40 small island. Most of them are limestone islands with beautiful beaches, coral reefs in both deep and shallow water.
Koh Khai (Khai Island)
There is only one beach upfront on the island. Shallow water corals near the frontbeach is the popular spot for swimming and diving.
Koh Ngam Yai and Koh Ngam Noi (Ngam Yai and Ngam Noi Island)

The distance between the two islands is about 300 meters. Koh Ngam Yai is the best scuba diving spot of Chumphon islands. The topography of Koh Ngam Yai and Koh Ngam Noi is rocky limestone cliffs surrounded by a variety of fertile coral reefs with colorful fish, and spots suitable for snorkeling or scuba diving.

Underwater World Pattaya

At Underwater World Pattaya, visitors are taken on a ‘voyage to the bottom of the sea’ , which begins at the sandy beaches and shallow rock pools at the water’s edge. From here, they start their descent, passing brightly colored corals and all kinds of exotic ocean-dwellers along the way. Finally they come to a spectacular 100 meter-long tunnel with acrylic windows, home to great shoals of fish, prowling predators and a host of other creatures that inhabit the ocean depths.
Mini siam

Located at Km. 143 on Highway No. 3 is a wonderland of miniature replicas of such outstanding architectural works as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Democracy Monument, the Bridge over the River Kwai, Prasat Hin Phimai, etc. Replicas of places of world significance are also displayed in the miniworld area. Koh Mak is located in the East of the Gulf of Thailand, between Koh Chang and Koh Kood, about 38 kilometers from the coast. Koh Mak is the third biggest island of the Mu Koh Chang National Park after Koh Chang and Koh Kood, with an area of 16 square kilometers; it is mostly flat.
The journey from Laem-Ngob Port to Koh Mak takes around 3 hrs by ferry. However, it can be faster, only 45 mins, by speedboat. Continue reading »

Koh Chang Beach

Ao Klong Prao
Koh Chang is the largest island in Trat and the second largest island in Thailand with an area 429 square kilometers. It is a mountainous island with several rainforest and waterfalls. Koh chang is part of the Mu Koh Chang National Park. Mu Koh Chang National Park comprises of 52 small islands covering area of 650 sq. Kms.
From Trat Bus Terminal, you can take local shared taxis (Song Taew) to Laem Ngop pier, it takes about 40 minutes and costs 50 Baht per passenger. In the area around Laem Ngop there are 3 piers to Koh Chang, Center Point, Laem Ngop and Thammachat pier. The cheapest and the most convenient pier is Thammachat pier.
