Nice for the money, smells bad July 20, 2009

I don't know if this is the seller's fault or not. The fan arrived in good condition, however it reeked of a terrible unidentified odor. I don't know if it's inherent to the fan's materials or construction, or if it was just stored in a wet, unventilated place, but it sure does stink. I opened the fan up and am letting it air out before I give it as a gift. Otherwise it's a pretty and well made.
