that's all there is to it. the pads are sturdy, but have just enough weight to absorb kicks effectively for training purposes. other reviews have pointed out the difficulty with the velcro straps - and they're right - but it's a small problem at best, given the fact that the straps are also sturdy, and that any workouts will most likely not be done alone.

These work great! The pads are strong and can be used for a variety of striking. From kicks, knees, to hand striking these pads absorb a lot of force. And they are easy to hold and manipulate as well. Worst case scenario, if the cord holding the fabric together comes loose it is not a daunting task to rethread. I definitely recommend this product.

Great pad for punches and kicks. Great stress reliever and absorbs all I can throw at it. Would recommend hand wraps for prolong punching sessions though. Very solid and stiff.

These pads are by far the best bang for your buck. Me and two other guys use them an hour a day and they are holding up excellent.

These are a great deal. They are good Thai pads, and the price is very reasonable. In most cases, you would pay an extra $15-25 for the same product. Delivery could have been faster, but it wasn't too bad.
