Editorial Reviews:

Product Description

These are made of a durable and comfortable elasticized fabric blend. It's a non-slip fit and holds shape and size through repeated use and washings.

For sizing we usually recommend that you match your t-shirt size. Unless your body type is one extreme or the other, that's what we have them made to fit. Remember, it's not the length of your foot that matters, it's more a question of how big around your ankle happens to be.

Great product to provide ankle support during striking and grappling workouts - Piranha Gear has great martial arts products and great customer service as well.

5 out of 5 stars Useful for aerial work: trapeze and lyra   January 28, 2010

These pads fits well, aren't too tight and constricting, yet protect the ankle when hanging upside down from a hard bar. Good ankle pads for aerial work.

5 out of 5 stars best ankle wraps for mma and grappling   August 15, 2009

i've used the Title MMA ankle wraps, Twins brand, and regular ace bandage ankle sleeves. these are hands down the best ankle sleeves you can have for mma, jiujitsu and grappling. all my training partners want to know where i got them. the padding is just the right amount and in no way does it get in the way of performance. the material is strong, supportive and yet amazingly flexible. it will prevent you from rolling your ankle, but you'll get no loss in dexterity. great for working 10th Planet JJ moves.

5 out of 5 stars Great product...great customer service   June 7, 2009

I've used these ankle guards for over six months now and they are both durable and comfortable; they have held up pretty well through some intense Brazilian Jiu Jitsu workouts. They have taken a beating and still have their original elasticity. The lining covering the foam pad on the inside over the ankle/heel on one guard has torn on the edges, but has not impacted the intended purpose or utility. If you are looking for a tough, durable and comfortable set of ankle guards, look no further. When I finally wear these out, I will definitely buy another pair. Customer service from Piranha is outstanding!

5 out of 5 stars Just right   April 10, 2009

These are just right for me. I bought them for judo as protection against bony foot sweeps and they have just enough padding. I am not really aware I have them on but they keep some heat in my ankles. They seem to be pretty well made and don't show that I have washed them about 10 times.
