Thai Supreme Curcuma alismatifolia Bulb -Summer Blooms

Natives of Thailand, the Siam Tulips (Cucuma alismatifolia 'Thai Supreme') are fantastic to say the least. They produce some of the most spectacular displays in all of the plant world. Curcuma alismatifolia is member of the family Zingiberaceae (ginger). This extra large pink variety is one of the best Siam Tulips offered. It is grown by millions in Thailand and is also a hot item in Holland and Israel where it is grown for cut flowers and pot plants. This plant is a long lasting, repeat blooming, full-sun loving, easy to grow and very productive. It will bloom all summer. The Siam Tulip flower is held above the foliage does look like a tulip, hence it's other common name, "Summer Tulip."
