These spoons were just what I was looking for in terms of material and shape. They were, whoever, thinner than I had imagined. This has caused no problems so far, and they do hold shape and haven't bent, but my initial reaction was one of fear that I had bought disposable steel spoons by mistake. They are far thinner than a typical American style stainless steel spoon, and not much thicker than poster paper. It's the shape of the spoon that keeps it from deforming despite the thickness. The curve of the steel holds it in shape like how a dome is a very strong structure.
